Summer Camps

Registration is now open! 

We are excited to offer weekly adventures for youth ages 6-14 on and off the water this summer! Learn to have fun on the water safely.

important information

  • No refunds, be sure to triple check your information and schedule before registering.
  • Please check the dates closely each week as some weeks are not full weeks due to happenings at the park or holidays. Fees are adjusted accordingly.
  • Registrations will close the Wednesday prior to the camp week.
  • Our camp counselors are lifeguard trained and will be on the water with the youth. We provide personal flotation devices and equipment.

Drop-off: 8:00 a.m.
Pick-up: 4:00 p.m.

SPIRIT OF AMERICA FOUNDATION
SAFE BOATER EDUCATION CAMP

 

AGES 10-14 ONLY

This camp offers a unique opportunity for potential boaters to get both classroom education AND practical experience. It will teach youths the lifelong skills of safe paddling and powerboating, with the ability to confidently teach others. The campers will be able to earn their Florida boating license. The camp is conducted in partnership with Spirit Of America Foundation, which offers a comprehensive program that also instills confidence and positive, lifelong ambitions, and fosters the spirit of teamwork in youths.

NOTE: There are off-site visits as part of the camp.

ALL AROUND NBP CAMP – AGES 6-13

Welcome to All Around NBP Water Sports Camp, where aquatic adventures await! Dive into kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, and fishing in the ideal setting of our world-class facilities. Campers will enhance their knowledge surrounding boaters safety, water sports, and our lake’s wildlife! Our camp counselors prioritize safety while building skills and confidence. We believe in a hands on learning experience with our campers.

On-land instruction and safety requirements accompany all activities before campers get out on the water, so they obtain the knowledge and safety skills needed. Campers will be issued PFDs for on-water activities.

NBP ATHLETICS CAMP – AGES 6-13

Welcome to the NBP Athletics Camp! This summer, we invite young athletes to embark on a journey of skill-building and teamwork in a dynamic environment. Our facilities provide the perfect backdrop for a variety of sports. This camp will dive into the basics of nutrition, recovery, cardio, and strength training to help campers create or maintain an active lifestyle!

LEARN TO ROW SUMMER CAMPS wITH SARASOTA CREW

Learn to row summer camps are held at NBP and are for anyone entering 3-12 grades interested in learning to row or returning 3-7th graders. Rowers are grouped by age and skill.

How to be NBP ready for camp!

  • Please make sure your child has a healthy breakfast prior to arrival at NBP.
  • Apply sunscreen at home and send some with your child so he/she may reapply during the day.
  • Bring sunglasses, a hat and water shoes (or shoes that can get wet)
  • Bring a large bottle of water (We will provide campers with access areas to refill their bottles)
  • Bring snacks and please pack a lunch with an ice pack to keep it cold as they are not refrigerated
  • For designated downtime, please bring a favorite book.

Each camp has limited spaces. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
