Music! Dance! Drama!
In KCS classes and camps there is no pressure, the environment is informal and positive. We aim to create an environment that is not competitive but inspiring and builds children's self confidence.
Drama can benefit any child, teaching them wonderful skills that they can carry through life and put to use in many areas. Drama instills creativity and self expression as well as nourishing the imagination. Drama teaches children to think on their feet and helps them to both stand out from the crowd and to work with a group.
Perhaps the most important skills it brings is increased level of self confidence, plus the opportunity to make friends outside their usual circuit.
Classes and Camps
24-25 School Year TBA
This is a 12 week session of classes that starts in ___ and ends in ___.
K-1st graders attend on Tuesdays.
2nd-3rd graders attend on Wednesdays.
4th-5th graders attend on Thursdays.
Classes are after dismissal from 3:45 to 4:45.
Each session culminates in an exciting musical revue on stage!
Parents will be responsible for one costume for the end of session performance.

Insect Parade
Summer Camp
at Mill Creek Baptist Church
June 3, 2024 - June 7, 2024
This camp combines drama and SCIENCE! All kids love bugs... so join us for a fun filled week of entomology activities and buggy crafts. Our end of the week show will feature your kids as giant colorful insects that will inform and entertain you!
This week long camp will focus on song, dance, costume making and speaking. Each student will make a costume to wear in our "Insect Parade" performance as well as many other creepy crawly crafts. Throughout the week students will also learn quite a bit about various bugs and their traits.
Camp hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and students must provide their own lunches. Friday camp will be extended until 6:00 pm and we will provide a pre-performance pizza dinner for all campers! At 6:00 pm families will join us in the church sanctuary to watch our end of camp performance on stage!
Broadway Kidz
Summer Camp
at Mill Creek Baptist Church
June 10, 2024 - June 14, 2024
This Broadway themed camp will have your toes tappin' and your mouth laughin'! Our end of the week show will combine fun facts about the history of Broadway with hilarious skits and of course... Broadway tunes.
This week long camp will focus on acting, song, dance, speaking and visual arts. Throughout the week your students will practice just like real Broadway stars. They will also work on props and stage decor for their own show!
Camp hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and students must provide their own lunches. Friday camp will be extended until 6:00 pm and we will provide a pre- performance pizza dinner for all campers! At 6:00 pm families will join us in the church sanctuary to watch our end of camp performance on stage!
