Booker Middle School Magnet Program

Booker Middle School offers programs in the visual and performing arts as well as a Gifted and Talented Magnet Program.

The mission of Booker Middle's Visual & Performing Arts Department is "to identify highly interested and talented students and to provide them with an enriched, culturally diverse, and technology-infused arts education..."

The Gifted and Talented Magnet Program began in 1997. Its purpose is to offer gifted and high achieving students an enriched and enhanced environment in which to develop the multitude of skills, talents and questions that these students bring to the academic arena.
