Sarasota Educational Resource Center

Founded in 1981 by Ferne Rubin, SERC has provided a caring environment that specializes in meeting the unique needs of every learner. We provide one-on-one tutoring for all ages and offer learning support in the following areas:

- Phonics based reading program
- Reading Comprehension
- Written Language Development
- Math Skills
- Study and organizational skills & test taking prep

The emphasis of the Center is customized One-on-One tutoring programs for all ages and ability levels. Our services run the gamut from remediation to enrichment. The staff specializes in helping those with Dyslexia, Visual and Auditory Processing, Learning Disabilities (LD), and Attention Deficit Disorder (AD/HD).
