Sarasota Lawn Bowling Club

The Sarasota Lawn Bowling Club is a fully affiliated member of the SE Division of Bowls USA, and is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Bowlers of all levels of experience are welcome, and we welcome bowlers from all over the USA and the world, with our current membership including Americans, Canadians, New Zealanders, Scottish, English, Irish, Welsh and other European countries, many being seasonal “snow birds”.

Normally, the club operates to two seasons annually, the Fall/Winter Season (normally November – April) and the Spring/Summer Season (normally May – October). Bowling takes place day and night at SLBC as we have floodlights available on our green for evening/night bowling.

The club has year-long open bowling activities, which are detailed on our Open Hours page. During the main winter season, there are additionally club tournaments, inter-club invitational (open) competitions, and fun bowling events. Details of these are on our Tournaments page.

For beginners this exciting outdoor sport is easy to learn and we offer free lessons. Just bring flat soled shoes. No partner needed.
