This park is the heart and soul of the Olde Westfield Neighborhood Association, which formed in late 2004. The new association made the rehabilitation of its neighborhood park the No. 1 priority.
With help from the City of Bradenton, the park now has lighting, a gazebo, two jungle gyms for kids, picnic tables and more. Formerly referred to as Watertower Park because it is located under one of the City’s watertowers, the neighborhood successfully petitioned the City Council to rename the park in 2006.
The park is shaded by several large oak trees and a fence runs along its western boundary, Sixth Avenue West. Features include a water fountain, swing set, merry-go-‘round, benches, and trash receptacles.
