Stadium & Field Tribute
Payne Park was a professional baseball park from 1924 to 1989 in Sarasota, serving as the Spring Training home for the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, and Chicago White Sox. The stadium closed in 1989 when replaced by Ed Smith Stadium. Payne Park stadium and field were built on a portion of 60 acres of land donated by Calvin Payne and his wife, Martha.
Circus Park
This playground is circus inspired! Featuring a small splash area, rock climbing, slides, music makers, swings, and so much more. Perfect for picnics and spending the day with your little ones. No pets allowed unless they are service trained.
Auditorium
Conveniently located in downtown Sarasota. The room has a well maintained 4,000 plus square foot hard wood floor suitable for dances and meetings.
Tennis Center
Twelve Har-Tru Hydrogrid tennis courts, hitting wall, covered bench seating, and a locker room with showers. Offers lessons/clinics, tournaments, and evening play on lit courts.
Disk Golf
Payne Park's Disc Golf Course plays through a pretty scenic inner city park, with mature trees, two lakes, and a big hill.
Café in the Park
Captures the spirit of the great tradition of the Urban Cafe Terrace. Conveniently located for the downtown community, stop in for a great cup of coffee and a fantastic sandwich, seating inside or out - "al fresco", or on the go.
