A little about myself...
I have been teaching Bradley® classes since 2002 here in Sarasota. I am certified as a doula through The Bradley Method®. Since 2004, I have been offering doula services for home, hospital, & birth center births.
I was introduced to The Bradley Method® when we found out we were pregnant with our first child. I knew that teaching this class was my next endeavor.
We have three beautiful "Bradley babies": Audrey, Sarah, and Michael. Audrey and Sarah were born in Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Michael Joseph at home. All of my prenatal visits & births were attended to by midwives. All my babies were born without the use of medication for pain or invasive procedures. All were 2 weeks "late", so we had to learn how to approach that situation. No complications, no episiotomy, only minimal tears that did not need stitching. Needless to say, I am very blessed.
These classes are excellent preparation for any birthplace choice. I have great experiences to offer from attending 140 births in hospitals, birth centers, and home.
