Our Services

Speech and Language Therapy

Comprehensive assessment and treatment for speech and language delays and disorders, including difficulties with speech sounds, language development, comprehension, and social communication. 


AAC Evaluations and Training

Comprehensive evaluations to determine the best suited augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device for the client’s needs, as well as treatment, programming, and training for effective use of the AAC device.

Feeding Therapy

Assessment and treatment of feeding and swallowing skills in infants and children, including poor latch, difficulty transitioning to solid foods, difficulty chewing and swallowing, difficulty with drinking from a cup or straw, food refusals, and picky eating. 

Myofunctional Therapy

Assessment and treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) which are improper muscle patterns in the face, mouth, and tongue that can lead to issues such as tongue thrust, mouth breathing, and poor tongue movement.

Courtney Crooks, M.S. CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Owner of Thriveable Therapies

Courtney is a skilled therapist specializing in children's communication and feeding development, with extensive experience in working with children ages birth to 21 in clinic, school, and teletherapy settings. She has advanced training in pediatric feeding and swallowing, including certification in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. She also has specialized knowledge and experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and she knows that with AAC every child can find their voice.

Passionate about helping children reach their full potential, Courtney works closely with families and designs customized therapy sessions to maximize progress. She utilizes play-based therapy and keeps each child's interests in mind to keep sessions engaging and productive. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, running, painting, and spending time with her family.
