Sarasota Art Museum Family Programs

Anchoring the Ringling College Museum Campus, the Museum has 15,000 square feet of dedicated exhibition gallery space, Bistro, Shop, auditorium for educational events, performance and film, a sculpture courtyard and extensive grounds and facilities where one can engage with site-specific and site-responsive art experiences.

Wednesday Playdate: For early learners with an adult, Your Wednesday Playdates deliver an art project led by a professional teaching artist and interactive story times.

Saturday Studios: Saturday Studios are inspired by works of art in Sarasota Art Museum’s special exhibitions. These drop-in studio workshops are designed for children and their families and caregivers, and are open to all ages.

Highlights Tours: Learn more about the art on view by taking a tour! Our conversational tours are led by Museum Docents eager to share their knowledge and insight. We strive to personalize each experience, so no two tours will be the same.
