Asolo Rep Teaching Artists and Staff are highly-qualified educators, performers, and artists who share a passion for teaching. Many have advanced degrees and teaching certifications, while also having extensive stage, film, and performance credits. Through direct programming creation and collaboration with Asolo Rep Education & Engagement staff, students who work with our Teaching Artists receive dynamic and substantive artistic and educational experiences across all programming areas.
Programs Include:
Asolo Rep on Tour and Illumination Series--Through meaningful conversation and responsive programming, we are learning from and creating with our community. Together, we can build a space of inspiration, connection, and change.
Kaleidoscope--Programs that celebrate the unique voice and creative expression of neurodivergent individuals and individuals with disabilities through the performing arts.
Play Date, Sharing Stories and Community Day--Family programs that provide opportunities for childcare during performances, live storytelling, and a dedicated day to connect with community organizations prior to performances.
