Soar in 4 Free Monthly Family Nights & Story Time

Soar in 4 is a free parenting program that promotes literacy. We activate parent(s) to be their child’s first literacy teacher. Parents learn how to read to their child, introduce rich new vocabulary and skills, connect with community resources and receive free materials.

Soar in 4 Events provide families with early learners (ages 0-4) hands-on engaging literary experiences designed to increase oral language and vocabulary.

Soar in 4 Monthly Family Night Events held at the Bishop Museum teach families how to use the FREE materials and books that are distributed to support classroom learning at home through exploration and play.

Storytime - Held twice a month at Manatee County Public Library locations, families participate in a read aloud and learn how to support their child’s language development through activities and songs. Each family leaves with new materials and books to continue expanding vocabulary at home.
