Embracing Our Differences School Programs

Embracing Our Differences offers a variety of resources for teachers to deliver innovative methods of engaging students in critical thinking while creating the perfect environment for a rich discussion of the value of diversity and inclusion. Prepared under the supervision of curriculum development specialists from the Sarasota County School district, the age-appropriate lesson plans identify the relevant curriculum standards, educational objectives, instructional strategies and assessment guidelines. All lesson plans are linked to the NGSSS as well as Florida's Math and Language Arts Standards.

Of 202 teachers surveyed in 2018, 99% of teachers availing themselves of our lesson plans and other teaching materials felt they were meaningful and beneficial tools for their classes and enhanced the field trip experience.
