Sarasota Ballet Outreach Programs

The Sarasota Ballet's Education and Outreach Program is designed to provide meaningful opportunities for our community to experience and learn about ballet; cultivating and educating a new generation of lifelong arts advocates.

Our collaborations with the Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child Initiative and the Sarasota County Public Schools served over 2,000 local students in 2014 with an invitation to the world premiere of The Secret Garden and innovative curriculum support for classroom use. In 2013 the Outreach Program was awarded the Sarasota County Public Schools Professional Collaboration Award for our in-school and in-theatre programming associated with John Ringling’s Circus Nutcracker.

The Sarasota Ballet firmly believes that dance should be accessible to all residents of our wonderful city. Our Community Outreach programming reaches over 5,000 people with opportunities to experience and explore ballet. We proudly partner with local and corporate businesses and non-profits for a wide range of events, bringing our unique cultural art form to our community.
