My Hometown Fest

Join us for a fun-filled day savoring the sights, sounds and tastes of hometowns across the U.S. during My Hometown Fest from noon-6 pm on Saturday, April 9, in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida. We’ll be serving up free samples of regional food favorites — like authentic Boston Clam Chowder and Hush Puppies, Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, New York-style Deli Sandwiches, Southern Barbecue and more — prepared by 24 of our area’s finest restaurants. Plus, you will enjoy free samples of more than 60 craft beers from around the country.

Great live music by local favorites Twinkle and Rock.Soul.Radio., Strangeways, Shoredogs and Dean Johanesen, plus lots of regional activities like a Black Ops Obstable Course, Mechanical Bull Ride, Rocky Mountain Climbing Wall, and Demolition Ball Challenge, round out the fun!

The Tampa Bay Bucs Street Team will be on hand as well with their QB Challenge and NFL Play 60 drills, as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning cheerleaders!

Best of all, proceeds from My Hometown Fest go to support the charitable activities of Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota, a registered 501(c)(3), as well as other leading area nonprofits, like Goodwill, The Florida, Center, The Miracle League and more.
