Get ready to kick-off The Newtown Nation's Three-Day Multicultural Festival with a Special Youth Poetry & Spoken Word Workshop & Celebration! "We Are One Voice!" is a youth-centered outdoor arts education experience like no other! Featuring local spoken word artists as well as student poets, this three-hour night-time event is part workshop and part performance, and all about giving area youth a platform to express themselves in authentically in a safe space!
This event is part of Suncoast Remake Learning Days, presented by the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and The Patterson Foundation. Suncoast Remake Learning Days is a 10-day festival of free, hands-on learning events for children and families from Friday, April 29 through Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties.
