Join us on Saturday, June 18th from 11am - 2pm for the book launch of “What a Shell Can Tell”! Written by award-winning marine biologist Helen Scales, you can explore the wonders of shells with your children through a dramatic reading and a hands-on activity.
11am – Storytime
Join our Executive Director Virginia Shearer at 11am for a dramatic reading, and learn more about where shells live, what they eat and more! Receive your free activity guide and be a shell detective! Purchase the book and read along.
12pm – 2pm – Let’s Make Some Art
After the reading, join us from 12pm – 2pm for hands-on art activities to explore the ideas behind What A Shell Can Tell.
