History Day in the Park at Phillippi Estate Park

Join us at Phillippi Estate Park for a journey back in time! Experience a celebration of Sarasota’s rich history with a day full of engaging activities and performances.
Event Highlights:
• Historical societies and organizations showcasing Sarasota’s past
• Re-enactors, including Kathryn Chesley as Nettie Keener Keith
• Plein air painters creating and selling art on-site
• Performances by the Sailor Circus (11:30 a.m.) and Sarasota Concert Band (12:30 p.m.)
• Mansion interior exhibits featuring local authors, antique costumes and more
• Docent-led tours of the historic Keith Farmhouse
• Antique machinery demonstrations, vintage cars and food trucks
