Get ready for an afternoon of music & creativity at this FREE event for students & families! Modern Marimba, Mr. Stevey Meditates, and Sarasota Music Conservatory invite students & families to listen, learn, and create! Enjoy an exploration where students can make their own music and artwork inspired by the sounds and stories of overlooked musical greats. We are celebrating people of color from all backgrounds who have composed and performed music.
Activities include:
- live musical performance at 3:30pm
- instrument tryouts
- storytelling & books
- bingo with prizes
- open practice rooms
- AND a listening room with art supplies to color & create!
Snacks will be available for participants.
