Family Literacy Night for Magic School Bus - Suncoast Remake Learning Days

Blackburn Elementary School students attending Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System at the Van Wezel PAH will have the opportunity to take their experience in the theatre o‘ the stage and into their lives. With their families, students will share a meal, interact with three di‘erent teaching artists who will be running literacy and science integrated arts activities designed for family participation, AND go home with a free book! This exciting extension of the theatre into the school is an initiative that brings families together with the arts at the center of the action. It also allows students to see their curricular learning through an arts lens, thereby activating their learning and RE-making it in a fun and community-spirited way!
