Join a UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County educator for some family-friendly fun to learn all about Florida's fascinating serpent species!
Through a brief, interactive presentation and fun, engaging activities and art projects, families will learn about snakes’ special superpowers, how to identify some common snake species and distinguish between venomous and non-venomous species, and understand why snakes are so important in a healthy ecosystem.
We hope that learning about snakes' cool adaptations and behaviors will help you appreciate these infamous creatures!
This event will be held primarily indoors. Families welcome, fun activities for kids.
Please do not create separate tickets or reservations for each person attending in your group. Minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
