RFL Race for Life at Sarasota BMX Track

Friday Night, February 28. RFL Race. Come race with us to raise funds for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Each rider will receive a Sarasota BMX Track Buck at sign up. Majority of our race fees from this evening will be donated to the society. ABA started this race in 1981, when a 12 year old BMX rider from Michigan, Todd Kingsbury found out he had Leukemia. He had dreams same as many BMX riders of one day becoming a Pro. Unfortunately this dreaded disease would keep Todd from fulfilling his dream. When Todd’s friends and the ABA learned of his disease it was decided that an organized effort should be made to help in Todd’s “Race For Life”. This became a yearly event for all tracks to raise funds for the LLS and the USABMX now being one of the largest contributors. www.lls.org
We will accept any donations from riders and add to our contribution for this worthy cause.
