Author Read-Aloud for Kids at Island Branch Library

Children's author, Kristen Hogan, joins us to read her newly released book, Keiko the Koi. This special author read-aloud is for kids of all ages.
Keiko the Koi, a beautifully illustrated rhyming children's book in traditional Japanese art about a boy who makes friends with a koi fish after visiting and feeding her. Seeing her in her pond all alone, the boy takes matters into his own hands to help make the pond he likes to visit full of life. An unexpected friendship and Keiko was named.
Kiki, a newly published children’s book author and mother to one. Many of her stories are inspired from adventures with her son. Though the majority of her career is behind the chair as a hair stylist, her passion has always been in art and creative writing. Since being recently published she now has 2 books and 13 more coming soon
