Sarasota High School Magnet Program

The MaST Research Institute operates as a school-within-a-school and is intended to provide qualified students with a rigorous enriched curriculum to prepare them for entry into Math, Science, Medical or Engineering related careers following high school.

The program offers a common academic core coupled with mentor-supervised research, internships, career shadowing, and participation in summer institutes. The MaST Research Institute offers students a competitive edge when applying to university degree programs.

Sarasota High is proud to announce that we are offering the prestigious AICE Diploma Program. This program is going to provide students with an excellent college prep experience while allowing them to earn up to 45 college credit hours. Upon completion of the AICE Diploma and 100 hours of community service students will also receive the Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholars Scholarship (maximum award).
