Katie lives in Palmetto Florida, and provides photographic coverage to the surrounding areas of Florida’s west coast from Venice to Tampa. She a bachelors degree in arts with an emphasis in photography.

I love warm backlighting in my photographs. I search for the sun streaming through the trees & casting a glow across my subject’s faces. I don’t always need an “ideal” backdrop however. Some of my favorite photographs were shot in a ally or parking lot where the light has created a frame for me to create some really neat art. As for posing style, the very most important thing to me is to capture you and and your connections.. I give tons of direction with movement so it appears to be more candid and natural.. so they are your movements and not mine. Some of the best photographs come from the “in between” moments. This is when the real connections happen.. when for a minute it seems everyone has forgotten I am there. I like to think of my photography style as a timeless with the authenticity of a photojournalistic style. I will get to know you on a personal level throughout your entire session, make sure you look your best, and make you feel as at ease as possible.
