Manasota B.U.D.S. Groups

Manasota BUDS regularly hosts invaluable learning opportunities for our members. Over the years, BUDS has held seminars regarding speech/ASL, toileting, IEPs, navigating adolescence, Guardianship, Estate Planning, Special Needs Trusts, etc. Parent scholarships are available, reimbursing families for attending external conferences and expos pertaining to Down syndrome.

Our mission is to provide families with a neutral and supportive forum for sharing and networking, and to promote understanding and acceptance of Down syndrome.
A few of the programs and services offered include:
Support for new parents of babies with Down Syndrome,
Family Social Events, Playgroups and Gatherings, Parents Night Out, and Parent Education.
