Sarasota Youth Opera Summer Camp
Each June, SYO offers a multiple summer camps for young people. Under the direction of Sarasota Opera’s professional artistic and production staff, campers experience the magic on the stage and behind the scenes as they study the many facets of opera, from music and acting to opera appreciation and production.
Designed for all skill levels, our annual camp engages young people in the magic of opera. A typical day includes sessions in singing, acting, sets, props, wigs, make-up, and costumes, all led by industry artists, directors, musicians, and technicians.
No audition required; all skill levels are welcome!
